A delicious, new-to-Canada treat, is now available at Spadina Ave. Toronto. PappaRoti – the buttery, coffee-caramel coated “father of all buns” that first took Malaysia by storm in 2003 and has since opened over 400 café locations worldwide – has now arrived in the heart of Montreal. This is Papparoti Cafes First Café location in the province of Ontario, and we believe the vibrant atmosphere of this beautiful province will provide Papparoti Cafés, a GREAT opportunity for growth and expansion.
Spadina Ave. is one of the most prominent streets in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Running through the western section of downtown, the road has a very different character in different neighbourhoods.
For a number of decades, Spadina Avenue and nearby Kensington Market were the centre of Jewish life in Toronto with the area around Spadina being the home of the garment district—where many Jews worked—as well as numerous Jewish delis, tailors, bookstores, cinemas, Yiddish theatres, synagogues and other political, social and cultural institutions. In the 1950s and 1960s, the Jewish community moved north along Bathurst Street, but signs of Spadina’s Jewish history can still be found in many locations. However, now currently the city’s Chinatown moved west along Dundas onto Spadina. This mix of different cultures and ethnicities is a great opportunity for us to be able to share our unique product offerings for all to try and fall in LOVE with our Coffee Buns!
Since 2018, as the First Café location of Papparoti Café in Ontario, has had the pleasure to serve its unique coffee caramel coated buns made fresh every 30 minutes and served warm straight from the oven, to all its loyal customers. They also offer their customers with a variety of organic teas, coffees and other café food items, which are unique to each Papparoti Café location!
